Andy Ashley
Andy Ashley serves as Director of the Mississippi River Science & Technology Office for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Mississippi Valley Division (MVD). As part of this role, Mr. Ashley administers the Mississippi River Geomorphology and Potamology (MRG&P) Program which aims to improve our understanding of the evolving geomorphology of the Mississippi River from the confluence of the Missouri River to the Gulf of Mexico. Mr. Ashley previously served as Deputy Chief of Watershed Division for MVD which oversees hydraulic engineering for the six USACE districts within MVD. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University, a Master of Engineering from the University of Florida, and a Master of Theological Studies from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a registered professional engineer in the State of Alabama.
