Deborah Centola, PE

Deborah Centola is the acting Chief of Water Management for the US Army Corps of Engineers New Orleans District. Her interest in managing water started in her educational background in Urban Planning and led to her path in Civil Engineering. A New Orleans native, she has a healthy respect of the Mississippi River and considers it a privilege to be working with the experts on the Lower Mississippi River Comprehensive Management Study, a unique and historic opportunity to improve the management and operation of the Mississippi River and Tributaries System in an adaptable, resilient, and sustainable river for generations to come.
