Michael Manning

Mike began his career with the USGS in 1986 in Jackson Mississippi, where he still resides as a physical scientist. Over the past 36 years, Mike has been heavily involved in many aspects of water quality and sediment investigation including over 3 decades of work with NASQAN, NAWQA Cycles 1 thru 3, and currently NWQN.

Mike is now the NWQN project manager for the 5 state Lower Mississippi-Gulf Water Science Center. He also performs as the Large River Coordinator for the LMG. Mike also serves as an instructor for various water quality, sediment, and large river topics.
